About the book
The monograph is devoted to the provision of medical and rehabilitation assistance to children suffering from hearing loss and deafness, complicated by secondary neurotic and neurosis-like disorders.
Cases of neurosensory hearing impairment and painful conditions of children that are often encountered in the practice of teachers are considered. The appendices contain criteria for assessing hearing impairment in various forms of hearing loss, as well as brief information about childhood infectious diseases that teachers need to know.
The book is intended both for specialists – audiologists, speech therapists, psychologists, and parents of children with hearing impairments.
