Developmental disorders of scholastic skills, manifested by specific significant impairments in the development of school skills in the presence of adequate learning conditions. Disorders are not due to a decrease in the general intellectual level, the presence of severe neurological diseases, or a decrease in visual or hearing acuity.

The following groups of specific developmental disorders of scholastic skills are distinguished:

  • Specific reading disorder (dyslexia)
  • Specific writing disorder
  • Specific violation of arithmetic skills
